How It Works
The Secure Settlement Model
A conditional release system that protects customers without shortchanging artisans.
Customer Pays
Customer initiates payment via Visa, Mastercard, Thawani Pay, or Flutterwave. Funds are captured and held in our secure conditional account.
Funds Held Securely
During service delivery, funds remain in our Protected Payment System. Neither party can access them until service is confirmed.
Customer Confirms
After the artisan completes the job, the customer reviews and confirms satisfactory completion through the app.
Artisan Receives Payment
Upon confirmation, funds are released to the artisan's KraftSouq wallet. Withdrawal to bank account processes within 48 hours.
What if there's a dispute?
If the customer raises a dispute within 72 hours of service completion, funds remain held while our mediation team — including community organization representatives — reviews the case. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days if the dispute is upheld.
